Sam Barber

Background & Experience:

A graduate of History and Politics at Leicester University, Sam initially worked in brand management for Kraft Foods Plc working in product development, sales & marketing on a range of FMCG brands.

Sam moved to Boots in 1995 where she spent seven years developing experience in new product development, buying, marketing, store design and merchandising development. For a large proportion of this time she was involved in new business projects; including Boots Thailand where she spent 2 years in Bangkok and a senior role in the development of Pure Beauty, a premium beauty concept store.

Most recently Sam has been working at Virgin Cosmetics, leading new business projects and the integration of the retail stores & spa outlets back in to the core business. A key responsibility at Virgin was the strategic development of the Virgin Vie catalogue and streamlining retail marketing processes.
